At Serenity we understand that coping with a learning disability can be extremely challenging. We take time to listen to what you need and our aim is to give you the level of independence and control so that you can lead the life you want.

Our care can range from occasional support to a more intensive support plan. We can provide flexible support at any time this may be for a few hours a week or 24 hours a day.

Our highly trained professional staff will be happy to have an initial consultation but here are some examples of what we can offer.

Serenity Service Examples:

  1. Personal Support
    We can provide personal support in your home which can be anything from cooking, cleaning to personal care and administration of medication.
  2. Live in Carer
    If you have a more intensive support requirement we can arrange for a live in support worker. This can bring peace of mind to both you and your family members.
  3. Personal Interests and Hobbies
    We can help you with a great sense of companionship and provide support for you in pursuing your personal interest and hobbies.
  4. Active Days and Short Breaks
    We can provide support for you if you want to go on holiday.
  5. Keeping Safe
    We can support you to understand what you need to know to keep safe, how to find out more information about the activity you want to do and support you to get someone else's point of view.
  6. Training
    We have a continuous professional development programme that our staff undertake that include learning disability training which enables them to support people with learning disability needs to take control of their own lives.
